Broderick O'Neal



Broderick is honored to be joining Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theatre for his first season in the beautiful state of Utah. Born and raised in north-central Indiana, Broderick is very excited to be pursuing his life-long dream in his home state of Indiana as a rising senior B.F.A. in Musical Theatre at Indiana University.

Recent regional credits include Indiana University Summer Theatre’s Dames at Sea (Dick, Assistant Choreographer), Bloomington Playwrights Project’s Front Page Flo (Frank), Grandstreet Theatre’s Mamma Mia (Pepper), as well as the premier Hoagy Carmichael musical workshop of Stardust Road, directed by Broadway’s own Susan H. Schulman, with musical direction by Larry Yurman and choreography by Michael Lichtefeld.

IU credits include Pippin (Player, Lewis u/s), Urinetown (Tiny Tom/Dr. Billeaux), City of Angels (Big Six/Cop), The Drowsy Chaperone (Robert Martin u/s, Ensemble Swing), Jesus Christ Superstar (Guard), and Wonderful Town (Ensemble, Robert Baker u/s), as well as University Players 2019 production of Next to Normal (Gabe).

Broderick would like to thank his family, friends, and teachers, as well as the wonderful team at UFOMT, for all of their support in making his dreams a reality.
