PARTICIPATING IN THE 2025-2026 UTAH HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL THEATRE AWARDS

Now registering schools for the 16th Annual Utah High School Musical Theatre Awards (2025-2026 UHSMTA)! Below, you will find information on how to register your High School. These forms must be read and completed by a faculty member who is authorized by their school to commit to the UHSMTA program. If you are not authorized as such, we highly recommend you make the director of your High School’s musical aware of this amazing program and express your desire for your school to be included.

Outstanding performances will be featured and recognized in an Awards Ceremony (like unto the Tony Awards) on with awards given for many accomplishments in all facets of theatre (Performances, Lighting, Set, Costumes, Ensemble, etc…). Best Actor and Best Actress winners will be sent to compete in the National High School Musical Theatre Awards, working for a week with Broadway professionals, and performing on the Minskoff Theater Stage.
