    POSITION TITLE: Asst. Company Manager or Company Management Staff

    SUPERVISOR’S TITLE: Director of Artistic Administration/Company Manager

    START DATE: About May 13, 2026

    END DATE: About July 10, 2026

    COMPENSATION: Pay DOE, +Housing (for non-locals) +Travel (for non-locals)

    POSITION PURPOSE 

    As the Assistant Company Manager or Company Management Staff, you are part of a team that is responsible for the housing, transportation, communication, and compensation of our seasonal Company Members..

     

    POSITION FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Set up and take down apartment needs for company-provided housing
    • Organize housing inventory (bedding, dishes, cleaning supplies, etc)
    • Drive Company Vehicles to SLC Airport to pick up arriving Company Members and return them                                post-season
    • Drive Company Vehicles for local shuttles from apartments to work spaces 
    • Communicate with Company Members about all things housing/transportation
    • Hand out paychecks on paydays  
    • Create and maintain company paperwork and tracking documents
    • Perform e-verifications and identity checks for new Company Members
    • Transport Company Members to local clinics for work-related injuries or personal illnesses
    • Purchase and stock inventory as needed
    • Perform such tasks, services, duties, and responsibilities in accordance with UFOMT policies, rules,  regulations, and instructions now in force or which may be adopted from time to time during Employee’s  employment at the UFOMT. 
    • Other duties as determined by the Company Manager. 

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE 

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience. 

    • BFA or working towards receiving a degree
    • Experience supervising teams and sometimes working without direct supervision  
    • Experience driving vehicles with passengers
    • Experience communicating with varied personalities and temperments 

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

    The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to perform each essential duty  satisfactorily. We will make reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these functions. 

    • Comfort driving  mini-van or SUV sized vehicle with passengers
    • Valid Driver’s licence and good driving record
    • Ability to work in a team and maintain a positive attitude
    • Ability to collaborate with fellow staff and freelance artists with varied temperments
    • Ability to work occasional nights and weekends
    • This position occasionally operates computer and other office equipment 
    • Occasionally ascends/descends stairs/work ladders 
    • Occasionally will work outside to load or unload housing materials from vehicles into housing
    • Ability to transport 40 lbs up two flights of stairs 

     

    MULTI-DEPARTMENT POSSIBILITIES

    • Due to the nature of Company Management’s staff’s scheduling and timing within the season, some team members may also work in additional departments for a portion of their contract.
    • Box Office is the most likely department but please express interest in other departments if desired
